Reconstructing ancient biographies
through skeletal analysis
Human skeletons are unique evidence on human life in ancient times. Their excavation, curation and study are processes that are performed with the application of best practices and are defined by scientific principles and a code of ethics.
Selection of methodology
The various methodologies provide new data to the research, adding pieces to the biological “jigsaw puzzle”. For each of the ancient biographies the physical characteristics, the health status, the food preferences and the genetic profile are revealed.
